Mr Darling has 39 years of experience as a private equity investor, fund consultant and venture manager (AG  Becker, Wertheim & Co, Citicorp Venture Capital, Barclays PLC, ChinaBridge)

He cofounded Citi’s China investing practice in 1988 with CVC’s initial investment in Acer Computer. Since 1995, he has sponsored and advised 24 Chinese native VC and PE investing groups including WI Harper Group, Orchid Asia/ China along with CRCI’s original CHF I. Mr. Darling specializes in IT and healthcare, including medical device and biotech.
